WWE has announced on ECW this week that Vince McMahon will make an announcment - "Mr. McMahon himself will appear in the Land of the Extreme to address the WWE Universe on the future of ECW! Don't miss this important announcement".

PWInsider.com has reported that the show will undergo a name change to WWE NXT, with NXT somehow standing for "Next Generation". Stay tuned for details.
