WWE ’12 is coming and its bigger, badder, better than ever!

WNA were invited to a special THQ Community Event held over the WWE SummerSlam weekend in Los Angeles last month as we begin a new chapter in video gaming history with the upcoming release of WWE '12.
SmackDown vs. RAW is no more with WWE ’12 taking its place and there is a lot to get excited about!

Released in Australia on November 24 the game has the biggest and best roster to date.

 “Bigger, badder, better” isn’t just a fancy marketing title thrown out there for the upcoming release, having played the game it is honestly a re-invention of what WWE video games are, a platform in which the future looks to be extremely bright.

The main features to look forward to for WWE ’12 make the game really stand out, they are:

- Create An Arena
- New Road to Wrestlemania

THQ has really gone back to the drawing board and has come up with a new animation system dubbed "Predator Technology." In addition to allowing players to interrupt moves you can attack animations making it so much more realistic that it becomes a pure wrestling experience in every sense of the word.

From the ring ropes moving as characters are slammed to the mat, to the entire pacing of a match, WWE '12 just feels different, and when you add in the additional features such as Create an Arena you know that this is going to be something special.
From your very own apron or ring rope colour, the attention to detail in this game is just phenomenal. You have to look twice to notice it’s actually a video game and not a WWE broadcast.

The creation modes allow you the ability to create Superstars, entrances, storylines and highlight reels so it isn’t going to get stale in a hurry, add the 80+ match types, 70 characters, a 12-hour story mode, and universe mode and WWE ’12 is so much more than an update.
WWE ’12 is dynamic and action packed, it is so authentic and most importantly, it’s fun.

It just seemed like yesterday that Super Nintendo’s or Nintendo 64’s opened up the world of professional wrestling gaming, you could spend hours playing with a simple punch kick combination, who would have thought we would arrive at where we are today.
