I keep getting distracted by Tina Fey. Grin

I can totally relate. She's always had the sexy librarian look.

I was watching a Ross Noble DVD last night, because everything Ive seen of his has been hilarious..

But It was pretty bad.. He started, then was talking to someone in the crowd and busted out on some boring wind in the willows rant.. YAWN

It was a two disc set with a different show on the other disc, so Im going to give him another chance.

I don't believe so, parts 2 and 3 came with a slipcase, about it really and the new packaging BUT.... since I didn't own these on DVD and they were at K-Mart for $8, I thought why the hell not.

I made an order from DVD Pac, the first for a while.

All Blu-ray:

Max Payne
Rocknrolla
Street Fighter (You know you love it, total 90's cheese fest)

"When a naked man is chasing a woman through an alley with a butcher's knife and a hard-on, I figure he isn't out collecting for the Red Cross!"

Damn near every movie with a smart-mouthed anti-hero in it owes it's life to this film.  Fact.

Blu-Ray version is the extended edition by default, I believe, Rev?  Makes it an infinitely superior film to the theatrical cut.  Fills in some of the massive logic gaps.

Finally got around to watching these two tonight . . .

Both well worth my time and yours.  Particularly 'Son Of Rambow' - an absolutely charming little gem of a film.  Frankly, you'd have to be a real asshole to not like it.

I would buy a Blu-Ray player JUST to watch that in HD glory.

Son of Rambow is an excellent little movie; the story of its inception is rather cool too.

Ah, thanks. Might have to pick those ones up, especially if there only $8 like Rev said. Already have the box set with just theatrical trailers so some new special features would be nice.

Maybe it's just cos I watched two fantastic films last night, but what a rancid piece of s**t this one was.  Totally irredeemable on every level.  I feel both poorer and dumber for having watched it.

Ordered this off JB today:

A great series that just wasn't given a chance. Big shame because it's up there on my list of favourite sitcoms.
