Today's viewing:

Nightmare on Elm Street 6- Utter crap, bored me.

Cloverfield: Loved it. Didn't think I'd enjoy the whole hand-held camera idea, but it was awesome. 9/10

Yeah, I've gotta agree on that. I think the Starrcade set would have been much better had it had a decent doco attached.

Have always loved the premise of the film and majority of it works, it's just a shame the finale is a bit of a let down.

nice work on Revenge of the Nerds!

I just finished watching Saw 3 and really enjoyed that too. I love how in 2 and 3 they've created loose ends and then wrapped them up in the same film. Leigh Whannell is damn good writer.

I wouldn't mind it, but there is no chance that will happen. Raw Is Jericho.

I quite enjoyed Pumping Iron. Aside from the obvious Arnie stuff it also gave me my first real insight into the Gym junkie psyche. To push yourself until you vomit and think that's just the warm up boggles my mind.

It certainly does, helps understand these types too, helps a lot actually.

Read some peoples thoughts on this in the Saw V thread and was surprised by all the negative comments. This one is up there as my favourite Saw or at least in the top 2.

I thought the 5 person game was awesome. Liked how they made it so they needed to work together since just after the 4 tunnel part i was thinking why don't they just hide 2 in 1.

I can't think of anything bad to say about it right now.

Well I guess we watched two very different movies because I reckon it was right royal Sh*thouse compared to the other ones in the series and had I not had the others, there's no way I would have bought it this as a standalone.

In fact, I am going to watch the blu-ray just to see if my opinion changes upon a second viewing but I highly doubt it.

I'll agree. Although it's much the same like the others this one has a story that involves more then just going back into the past with jigsaw. Now I just want to know what's in the box and what Detective Hoffman is going to do next since all his loose ends are tied up....or are they?

You'd think Ms Tuck would continue Jigaw's work. Or at least do just one game for him. It could be Hoffman's game.

i think something big to do with Ms Tuck is the ending of the whole series. It will be the reason why he did it all from the beginning, even though we half know about the junkie killing the baby maybe there's more to it then we know.

I watched Ocean's 13 last night. I really enjoyed it. It was much better than Ocean's 12 and maybe even on par with Ocean's 11.

Just watched the Freighter part, pretty dead accurate, then again I suspected it would, it's much easier to do comic-to-animation than live action IMO.
