I prefer this cover, although it's the poster.

Quarantine.

One of the best scary movies I've seen in absolutely ages!!  Seemed so real.  The scene with this in it was sick:

Jennifer Carpenter did an awesome job. From a happy-go-lucky reporter to someone scared out of their wits. Full on.

Being someone who loves to be scared, this is up there in my top 5 favourites now.  I was on the edge of my seat towards the end.

I have only seen the original called REC, spanish made movie I think and it was amazing...

DVD comes out in a few weeks. Ive got it on preorder from the states.

I too watched it last night, downloaded it cause I didnt wanna wait till my DVD shows up. Was a little dissapointed in it, not as funny as I thought it would be. Still funny, was just expecting a bit more. But the cameos were awesome. I loved Rogen on Rogen violence.

It's about a man who suffers a stroke and becomes paralyzed from head to toe and only being able to blink with one eye.

I liked it more than i thought but i didn't love it. Don't judge it based on my mini review. Watch it for yourself.

Based on a true story by the way.

I only saw it was out when i saw that you had watched it in the 100 movies thread. I usually don't really go much on Rogen but i thought he was pretty good in it too, maybe partly because he finally showed that he can actually play a different character to every one of his other movies.

Downloaded this today

Sita Sings The Blues

A great feature length animated film that combines Indian folktales and the music of the 30's. The animation is a combination of DR. Katz style wigglevision, shaow puppet and 2d/3d animation, and the whole thing is one of those movies that is an unique viewing experience (Which are becoming harder to find).

Sadly Nina Paley, the woman that wrote and animated the film (By herself!) can't make any money out of it due the the music copyright issues, so she's put it up online in a myriad of different versions (Including a 200GB film quality rip!) for free download. Roger Ebert gave it 4 stars and made it part of his Overlooked film festival this year.

Here's the link to the download page.

Trust me, It's worth the time.

Went through the rest of the Superman movies over the last week. Aiming to go through a few tv shows next, going to start off focusing one at a time... but will probably end up watching episodes from 3-4 different shows concurrently.

My main aim is to go through 24 yet again, and will likely throw Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls and Knight Rider into the mix.

Still yet to pickup the recently released girls of the playboy mansion dvds, will look for them the next time i go on the hunt for UFC - Ultimate Fighter season 7.

Got this for $10,

It was alright I suppose... felt a bit ripped off because I expected a lot more gore but it definatelty got creepy at times. I wasn't a fan of the whole rape thing (who would be?) but I guess they tried to make the outcome a little different... and it was definately shocking. Ouch! is all I can say. The best part was the fish hooks scene. Overall, a simple yet decent Aussie horror flick with average acting (on the girl's part anyway) with some impressive special effects.

Gonna be a long trilogy.

The first and only time I've seen this was 6 or 7 years ago on video one day off school. It took damn near my whole time off.

I can only remember a few scenes but none of the specifics in them. Also forgot it ended on sort of a cliffhanger. Good thing i have the other 2 ready to watch.

It was actually good. Liked it a lot more than i remembered/thought.

Better than the first.

Gollum is annoying though. And there was some moments of gay between Sam and Frodo that made me lol.  Grin

Wouldn't this have to be the most critical and financial successful trilogy of all time?
