French horror? Do you recommend anything?

I've only watched a couple. Like trask reccomended, Inside is pretty crazy. I've also watched Frontier(s) which is pretty good. From what I've read, Martyrs is the one to look out for as is Irréversible.

Irreversible is quite brutal, more so in one certain scene in particualr. Speaking of Irreversible Gaspar Noe's I Stand Alone isn't bad either. High Tension is another good one to check out, not a bad watch. I still want to find a copy of Inside.

Yeah, I think I know what scene you're referring to. Probably something I'd actually skip when watching it.

Anyway, been watching quite a few movies over the past few days.

Was really good all the way up until the end where they seemed to get a bit off track... was a shame because they were good on all fronts like acting and the crazy CGI was pretty top notch. Good amount of gore in there as well.

Finally watched it and it didn't dissapoint at all. I thought Jennifer Carpenter was great in it. It definately got a bit creepy and actually made me jump a couple of times. Not sure if I should bother wacthing REC or not as the general consensus is that this is a pretty decent remake.

Not sure how this was received by critics and whatnot but I enjoyed it a lot. It was just a fun movie to watch and it fit in with a recent Uni subject I was learning about computers and technology taking over the world so it got my interest through that as well.

I've seen [REC] but not Quarantine. While it didn't scare me I'm thinking the original would be a lot more frightening. You probably should watch it.

And speaking of REC. REC2 is about to come out. This one takes place 15 minutes after the 1st. And from the trailer it looks like what Resident Evil should've been.

There's gonna be a REC3 too.

Antichrist

Haneke might make you feel bad for being human, but god damn it Lars Von Trier knows how to out and out put you through extremly well made misery for two hours.

Pretty much destined to be banned or at least cut when or if it gets released here.

Made me feel like watching Audition for light relief.

Very good though

District 9

Enjoyed this a lot. Great to see a truly unlikable protagonist in an action film. Plot loses steam in the last third, but at least makes up for it by showing Michael Bay how to properly do some giant robot action.

Between this and Watchmen, I'm guessing some CGI house has made a bunch of money in the last year on exploding bodies alone.

I watched this last night. I've always found Sarah from Prison Break a bit annoying. I do find Gretchen very sexy though.

Just starting this

AWESOME SHOW!!!

I KNOW RIGHT?

I've read that it's going to end on 7 seasons and the end will coincide with the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

I've only seen the first season but I'm already looking forward to the series finale. Tongue
