Wait for Carmello and Amare to return and watch him fade... or be driven away due to the stars.

The opposite. This is exactly what they needed. If anything, his worth will grow when Amare and Melo return. His stat line might go down, but make no mistake, he's the PG Melo and STAT have been praying for.

He can't get driven away by the stars. He is the star!

For the second time in 4 days, lost an NBA multi by 0.5pts on the line. Had Knicks at -2.5, beat the Wolves by 2.  >:(

All he does is LIN, LIN, LIN!!!!

The kid's aura just continues to grow. Game winning 3's now part of his swagger. Him and Amare looked great together too. Add Melo to the mix later in the week, beautiful things could happen.

Dude!

Add another "Gotta be kidding me". Was on Centrebet, and saw Wizards-Blazers this morning. I was tempted to put money on Wizards (who were already paying $13.50 just to win) to win it by over 10.5. A Sh*ts-n-giggles bet.

I didn't.

They won by 15.

The bet was paying $38-1  !!!!!  :'( :'( :'(

If Sri Lanka win the cricket tomorrow, I'm gonna be F*cking ropeable.

8-Leg Multi. Consisting of 7 NBA games this morning, followed by Sri Lanka to win tomorrow.

All the below bets were paying $1.85

Detroit to score over 84 - they scored 98
Memphis to score under 95.5 - they scored 105 Argh!
New Orleans to score over 87 - they scored 92
Oklahoma City to score under 103.5 - they scored 95
Philadelphia to score under 88 - they scored 87
Sacramento to score under 96.5 - they scored 85
San Antonio to score over 95.5 - they scored 113

I got Sri Lanka to win at $2.65. Only had $3 on it, but the win would have given me $589... so if they win, I will be a tad upset.

It always go in fits and bursts though. Except it's more like 1 week of nailing everything then 3 weeks of being unable to hit the side of a barn. :P

To be fair, I do chase the tastier odds, but yeh, I gotta put coin down on them.

I think I might have more of a go at the bets I used in the multi. Team A needs under/over a score. Rather than the combined of both. Didn't do too badly with the ones I picked for this morning. Only in multi's to help jack up the value. But still, not a bad option.

Yeh, everyone has their preferred betting plan. Some like certain sports, or a certain bet type or a system. Some bet a lot, some bet a little. I really like the "Pick Your Line" on Centrebet. If I think a roughie is going to win, adding that extra minus-points just add to it.

I don't care if the guys such as LeBron, Kobe, Howard etc are in the Dunk Contest, I like seeing the young stars of the NBA get to show there stuff on All Star Weekend.

The Rising Stars Challenge is going to be fun  8)

K-Mart looking like a great pick up for the Clippers today, the legs still have some jump in them he had a couple of nasty dunks.

Big win for the Bulls today with Rose out  8) Sometimes teams actually play better without star players it gives guys a chance to step up and often you see better ball movement rather then a team standing around watching one player make plays.

Jumping on the Knicks to win 10.5 in a row at $5.

New Orleans tomorrow morning, Dallas Monday, New Jersey Tuesday and Atlanta on Thursday.

All at the Garden. Dallas might be the problem game and maybe a bit of fight from Atlanta.

Got it in a multi, why not.

I love how the race card has come into the Linsanity stuff. Oh, he's not just a good player. Nope, he's a good Asian player, changing barriers and Sh*t.

The sooner people realise we are all human, the sooner racism will go away. But nope. Never gonna happen.

^^^ You'll probably find they want to pull the race card to let Lin replace Yao Ming as the face of the NBA in Asia, something which could be worth a lot of coin to everyone.

If Lin stays in a D'Antoni like system that adores a PG, then Lin.

But any other way and Rubio will be ahead by a mile, especially if he still has Love to play with.

Greg Oden is done for the year again after another micro fracture surgery in his knee.

He's played a total of 82 games in his 5 years, that's just unfortunate.

He's never really had the chance to prove he's a valuable big man and worth the #1 pick, and it certainly doesn't help that Durant (#2 pick) has gone on to become maybe the league's best player.

Portland just cannot catch a break with its aspiring young players.

It's looking pretty bad for his career now, may well be over by now, if it wasn't already.

I think Lin will be good but Rubio is special, I've had a huge rap on him from day one.

I think in 3 years Rubio will be the number one assist man in the NBA and the T-Wolves will be a good playoff team. Minnesota might even be able to build a team that is a serious contender.
Rubio at the point, a dominate rebounding front court with Love and Pekovic and Derrik Williams who has the potential to be a big time player if he can improve his shot. The T-Wolves could be the team of the future. I think it will depend on what pieces they can acquire to build around these guys.

How good has Pekovic been  8) he's fast becoming one of my favourite big men. He's the sort of tough  blue collar player every team needs.
