Do telstra even broadcast live on the net at the moment? Or is this another case of we don't want to show it but we don't want anyone else to either.

If Telstra didn't want competition they shouldn't have been privatised. Suck it up. You paid $175 million for it. Make the most of it.
I tell you what i did, sold it to someone from my school for 350. (Note: It had a chip in it to play burnt games). He believed it was in good condition, after that day he said it still runs alright but get a red circle, i said i did not even know what that was and there we go out the window, got my 80GB PS3 last year, runs smooth as.

What happens when the delay becomes 10secs or less? its basically live?

Its basically live on TV?

All this is is another thing between the "live" coverage and the consumer watching the product. It's allowing you (not the public) to watch it at your leisure on whatever device you choose.

*EDIT* - Why are you against it Woody?

You have made some good points jeri, points I didn't consider. I just don't like the idea of it. It's property owned by the afl and seven there are costs involved to produce it and it is basically flying in the face of that.

My new work polo shirt is black with white trimmings. I know what I'm wearing with my guernsey in the MCC this season. :)

Do you think Telstra would have done the same package had they not had competition from Optus?

F*ck the NAB Cup. I'll be staying well and truly away from it.

I was waiting for the negative comments. Yes it is pre season, yes the standerd is lower but can't you just watch footy?
