Please avoid posting in a disrespectful, defamatory, harassing, offensive, adversarial baiting, offensive, sarcastic or otherwise insulting or disrespectful manner. Be respectful of other posters. Administration and Moderators have the right to lock, edit, or delete posts at their discretion without permission.
No advertisement of your own site/forum/group. Promotion of your site/forum/group directly in your post is not permitted, but we do allow links in your signatures (Please read our avatar & signature rules)
Any inappropriate advertising will be removed as WNA see fit. If you wish to advertise on WNA email the webmaster at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it If you have received a PM that has advertising in it, please report this to one of the moderators.
We allow a minimal amount of advertising of Australian local federations upcoming shows, however this is a privilege and anyone abusing this will cause us to stop any form of advertising for local wrestling promotions Australia wide.
- ONLY the registered username of individual promotions may post new threads (i.e. User - PWAQ or PWAQueensland may post new threads for PWAQ - IWA may post new threads for IWA shows etc.) This is the ONLY instance where someone can hold more than one account and should be ok'ed with WNA admin first.
- Any thread bumped on purpose for the sole reason of 'bumping the thread', will be locked.
- Anyone starting a thread to promote their website and not actually a show, will be locked.
- Multiple threads on the same show will be deleted.
- Anyone advertising other websites or continuing to spam/bump a thread for no reason other than to bump a thread will be banned.
- No more than 5 pics can be posted of said show per post, but a link to a gallery is allowed.
No SHOUTING. It’s just plain rude and annoying. Typing in ALL CAPS may result in your post being deleted.
Each WNA member is limited to one account only. If you have mistakenly registered more than one account and wish for one to be deleted please contact our administrator.
Copyright Material. All wrestling news copied from other sources must be credited. Observe all copyright laws when posting copyrighted material. If the material does not belong to you, credit the source/author.
Use of direct profanity is not permitted on these forums. The use of abbreviations such as "wtf" may be permitted in most circumstances, but use your common sense.
WNA will not permit unsuitable grammar & non-English sentences such as sentences with slang/short hand as every word or more than 90% of the post. We recommended previewing your post and/or running the post through a spell checker such as in Microsoft Word.
Any post which has short-hand, slang words and multiple spelling mistakes that make the post unreadable to the general public will be removed. We ask people to send the URL’s of any of these type of posts to any of the moderators.
Do not post direct links to illegal software or downloads.
Do not post pornography or links to pornography of any form.
Do not impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself.
Avoid reposts by using the forum's search feature.
These are public forums. Do not post personal information (i.e. addresses, phone numbers, passwords, or any other private information)
No Bigotry. No derogatory references to homosexuals, christians, asians, etc. We will not allow our forum to turn into a nesting place for narrow-minded bigots.
No harassment. This means no PM'ing someone with repeated insults, attempts to hit-on said person and other related stuff. If you're PM'ing someone and the person makes it extremely clear that he or she does not want to communicate with you further via PM, please desist. If anyone is being harassed via PM, do not hesitate to send the PM to one of the moderators and explain the situation.
No spamming. This means no spamming threads because you're bored, or because you want to raise your post count. It means no spamming via PM to all or many members. Before posting, please ask yourself the following question: "Am I making a post which is either funny, informative, or interesting on any level?" If you can answer "yes" to this, then please post. If you cannot, then refrain from posting.
(Please read our general forum guide for posting in the general forum discussion forum which allows for personal related posts)
Try to stay on-topic. Moderators have the right to step in or split threads that have gone off on a tangent.
Spoilers. All spoilers should be posted in the WNA LIVE forum. Any spoiler can be posted on this forum without warning.
No spoilers for any TV/Pay Per View or other event may be posted in any other forum unless they specifically warn the user in the subject of the post. Hiding text or changing of text colour within the post to hide a spoiler is NOT permitted.
WNA's definition of a spoiler is a result, recap or discussion of a TV show and/or major or weekly event before it is screened on television in Australian Eastern Daylight Savings (AEDT) time. Those not under AEDT should take caution when browsing if you do not wish to be spoilt.
You Are Not a Moderator: Regardless of how many posts you have, unless you are a moderator do not attempt to patrol the forums and tell people what to do. If there is a topic that needs to be locked and one of the moderators hasn't noticed it yet, do NOT start posting flames at that user or other off-topic nonsense in the thread. All this does is attract more attention to the thread by bumping it to the top and taking away from the purpose of the WNA forums. If someone breaks the rules contact a real moderator and let them take care of it, that's what they're there for.
My Account Was Banned! If you have received two warnings about your posting manner, it’s likely that on the third occasion, your account will be banned without notice. If you feel your account was banned in error or our decision was unjust contact an administrator or moderator.
Respect both forum moderators and administrators. They all work for free to make this a better place for all.
Complaints. No open correspondence will be entered into regards to posts being moved or deleted on the actual boards, or any enquiry of WNA rules. For any queries about a post(s) you can send a PM or email to a moderator or log a complaint direct to WNA web using our complaint form.
Avator & Signature Rules
Avatars: Any avatar over 57.4kb in size or over 193 x 245 pixels will not be allowed to be used. No pornographic or material unsuitable to minors.
Signatures: Signatures can be JPEG's only, no GIF's. Signatures must not contain pornographic or material unsuitable to minors. General Forum Rules
Topics can go 'off topic'
As topics are replied to new topics can be brought up and discussed. Any replies to posts are permitted to go off topic provided they continue to observe the rules of the forum.
Topics can contain personal discussion
'Banter' or 'General Discussion' within or about any topic posted is permitted, however it will be at the moderators discretion of the post if that :
a. The post becomes unsuitable for the general public.
b. The post contains 'flaming' or swearing.
c. The post topic is already being discussed in another post.
d. The post has been requested to be removed by more than 1 person.
e. The post is not in the best interest of the website.
f. The post contains advertising or a large amount of spam.
g. The post contains a large amount of replies which are specifically designed to increase the amount of replies/views of a topic to make the topic stay higher on the board or 'bump' it un-necessarily.
The moderator will then be able to lock the topic with a reason of why the post was locked with one of the points above (a to g).
No Trolling
A post that is solely intended to incite controversy or conflict or cause annoyance or offence is considered "trolling". Why is "Trolling" bad?
The main goal of "trolling" is to incite an emotional or knee-jerk response from other posters. This response is typically in the form of:
- a personal attack;
- a repeat of previous points/posts; or
- an emotional outburst.
Such posts and the responses they generate tend to undermine the friendly atmosphere of WNA, and often result in long running feuds between (what can only be described as) factions loyal to one side or the other.
Discussion on moderating
Any requests to change an avatar, enquire about a topic being locked, request to have a post removed, request to change username etc. will only be allowed in a PM or email. This will allow us to specifically answer these questions directly (as some of these requests can be missed) and monitor them for future use and keep a record of them. Plus it will allow normal posts to continue without interruption and not affect the board. Note : This is a basic request of the website for administration purposes. It is important for us.
